I thought I'd tell you how it all started...

After I had my third child... my house was... um, well... a mess... my to-do list was all over the place... and life was little overwhelming... um... you get the point...

So, I had a home organizer come over and give me some tips - how to organize the kitchen, the kids room... and she gave me some time management tips - which included the fact that I absolutely HAD to get to Walmart and get myself a planner! 

So I did.

I used that planner for a couple of years.

One day, in December of 2007, I had this thought... as I stared at my planner, my eyes would fall on the weekly quotes - usually quoting John Lennon or Martin Luthor King Jr. or the like and I thought to myself - why don't they have a planner for frum women - with Jewish dates and inspirational quotes from Tanach & Chazal?

Good question. 

There wasn't a single Jewish planner on the market.

So... I made one!

Since then - and despite what you might think as the world becomes more and more digital - our planner has grown in leaps and bounds!

Funny story...

For years I only made the larger size Balabusta - the desktop edition - and I would get requests all the time for a smaller one.

Personally, I could not understand anyone wanting such a small size, I mean there's like half the space to write!

But I would say to my partner sure, once we make enough money to fund a second size then we'll consider it (printing is seriously expensive).

Eventually that day came and we made a second size. It literally sold out overnight. I kid you not!

I laughed for weeks that - well, I guess you should really listen to your customers even if you can't understand them!!

Since then we print more of the pocket edition than the desktop!
